5.0 out of 5 stars i am speechless, November 29, 2001
This review is from: Tonight at 8:00 (Paperback)
This book (comprised of 2 truly great plays) is just marvelous. It's just so....weird. How did Lauri Bortz think of the plots, the characters, the everything? The writing is impeccable, the style unique and engaging, and the format is really lovely, with sturdy paper and whimsical illustrations that truly enhance the whole package. It's a shame no one reads anymore, else I'd be more shocked that more people haven't picked this up and embraced it! If you like satire, strangeness, absolute absurdity, and just witty, wacky, well-crafted entertainment, this is for you!
