5.0 out of 5 stars SUPER ALBUM! BUT I HAVE JUST ONE QUESTION...
...Why hasn't a US label picked these guys up yet?! Not counting their "best of" and remix albums, this is their 14th album of new material in about as many years. I know they had a couple of albums issued domestially, but these were just one-time releases. I'm glad that BMG/Ariola/Coconut has stuck with them through all these years. I know they're very...

3.0 out of 5 stars Much Bettter
Ive been a bad boys blue fan since the early 80's. Lately thier albums have been good, very good but not GREAT! Well this album puts them right back on track. What a GREAT CD! My favorite song is "In the name of love" but there are so many to choose from on this cd. The only songs i dont like are the last 2 which are rap mixes, personally i hate rap. but 12 out of 14...

5.0 out of 5 stars SUPER ALBUM! BUT I HAVE JUST ONE QUESTION..., December 27, 2000

...Why hasn't a US label picked these guys up yet?! Not counting their "best of" and remix albums, this is their 14th album of new material in about as many years. I know they had a couple of albums issued domestially, but these were just one-time releases. I'm glad that BMG/Ariola/Coconut has stuck with them through all these years. I know they're very popular in Europe and Asia, but these hard-working guys deserve major US hit status. For example, on this album the first track, "I'll Be Good", has RADIO written all over it. I found all tracks to be very good and well-produced (including some gotta-have trendy vocoders), although a couple of tunes do suffer from generic BBB arrangements. But all have strong melodies and incredibly catchy choruses. The vocals continue to be excellent, although I was dismayed to see by the cover that the line-up has changed yet again. John and Andrew are still in the group, but there's a new third (unnamed and uncredited) member.

To the person who complained about this being recycled 80's music, they obviously aren't familiar with BBB. Let's face it...just like Modern Talking/Blue System/Fancy and all other 80's Asian New Wave groups, *all* their albums essentially sound the same. The songs have strong melodies and almost identical structures from album to album, with some rhythm track updates every so often to make them more contemporary, but that's what fans of this music love. They know that, because of the similar sound, the product will be good and the music will be to their liking.

An excellent album. You won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keep the albums coming, October 4, 2000
This review is from: Tonite (Audio CD)
First of all don't listen to the other reviewers, They don't know what they're saying. This album is great. There are 14 tracks and two of which are rap. I even found myself listening to the rap version even though I can't stand rap. The rest of the tracks are filled with great lyrics and high beats. Its true that track 1 and 3 are good but what the other reviewers didnt mention was that 4,5,6 and 7 are also as good. I have only listen to the cd for a day so I'm sure the rest of the songs will grow on me. Don't expect to buy a cd with only good songs if you're picky because that is not possible. This album has many great songs and yes there are some average ones. I said average not bad. I have been a fan since the early 90s and will continue to be one. As long as John is the lead singer, my support will alway be with them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Whatever you might think, the boys are back!, August 26, 2000
This review is from: Tonite (Audio CD)
Anyone who thinks this is not a good album needs brain surgery. This album has stayed in my CD player for a week and will not move for another two! Bad Boys Blue have been one of my favourite groups for 13 years, and they still show many Eurodance pretenders how it should be done. Where do you think the idea for that pathetic effort from Mel C came from?

The best tracks are "I'll be Good" and "Take a Piece of My Heart", both fine examples of the talent that Tony Hendrik and Karin Haartman have shown BBB over the years. Fair enough, there's a couple of cheesy tracks on the disc, but hey, it's not a perect world!

The simple statement is this: Buy the album if you like Bad Boys Blue and the trend (Europop) which THEY created. Also buy it even if you've just heard of them and are feeling curious. To not like this album is sinful. Well done guys, from a BRITISH fan! Can't wait until the next record is out!

It's amazing that after 17 years this band keeps delivering great dance sound. The songs have the classic hi-nrg beat of the 80's combined with the sound of 90's. I absolutely love this album, it's loaded with hits, not with just 1 or 2 like most cds by most artists out there. If you are a eurodance fan, you have to get this one, you won't regret it.

It was nice to see Bad boys blue come out with this CD, it's a solid release. The first single, "I'll Be Good" is really catchy. Other songs that are good are "SOS for Love". there are songs that reminds you of the good old Bad Boys Blue of the 80's - like "Take a piece of my heart" and "somewhere in my heart". Overall I was happy with this CD, it has been playing in my car for a while, i have all their CD's and I admit this one is one of their better. For those who don't know about Bad Boys Blue, then check out eurodancehits.com and read about their amazing career.

5.0 out of 5 stars German Dance/Pop Group Better Than Ever, August 20, 2002

In my opinion, You have not heard GREAT music, until you've listened to BAD BOYS BLUE. Since the mid 80s they (and MODERN TALKING) have been bringing us GREAT pop/dance music.

Bad Boys Blue songs tend to touch your heart and your feet, and stay with you FOREVER. Their past hits, such as "You're a Woman", "Pretty Young Girl", "A World Without You (Michelle)", "Come Back and Stay" and many many others are TRUE MUSIC MATERPIECES.

"TONITE" is the LATEST, and probably the BEST BBB album. I think, the best song on this album is "Heaven Must be Missing You", it is a DANCE LOVE SONG wiht great BEAT and ASTONISHING MELODY.

"Wating For Tonight" is GREAT, and similar to Jennifer Lopez's "Waiting for Tonight".
"SOS", "You Take Me to the Light" and "Somewhere in My Heart" are Hi NRG Eurodance marvels.
"Close Your Eyes" is, well, simply EXTRAORDINARY COMPOSITION.
"I'll Be Good" and "Do What You Do" are very CATCHY DANCE/POP songs.

All songs on this album are AWESOME. Combination of great EUROBEATS and MELODIES.

If you have never heard of these guys, this album is a GREAT Introduction, if you have, you will LOVE them even more.

Give this album a try. I promise, You will NOT regret it. Also check out other BBB albums as well as MODERN TALKING albums.
