This review is from: Tonka: Highway Trucks (Paperback)
This is a fun book to read when going on a highway road trip with a pre-schooler. The drawings are more interesting than photographs and they may lead to imitation drawings by younger artists.
The story is basic. A middle-aged woman has learned how to drive a commercial truck and is going on her first trip carrying childrens books to California from the east coast. The illustrations show how to load the truck, and how the highway truck tractor connects to the cargo trailer.
