Editorial Review
Parents may love playing with this realistic forklift as much as kids do. The heavyweight lifter can be moved forward (a red light flashes at the top of the cab) and backward (the red light flashes, accompanied by warning sounds), while two more controls enable the forklift to lift up and down, as well as move forward and backward. It is particularly exciting to put the truck to work by maneuvering the lift controls and then releasing the included wooden pallet and plastic barrel. This is a truck to grow into, as it takes a great deal of skill to get the wooden pallet onto the forklift. A 3-year-old tester practiced mastering the forward and reverse control, yet was confused about how to keep the forklift from banging into the wall. Four AA batteries are included to power this well-made lifter, which measures 15 long by 8 inches high.
