I read the GREAT reviews, bought this fire truck and just received it and it is NOT worth $49.99 plus over $12 in shipping!!!!!!!! The only motorized parts are 3 buttons that make different sounds. The ladder and basket have to be manually moved and they TOTALLY sound like they will break within 5 uses. Yes it is big, but none of the doors open, the ladder does not extend and I think it will break within in a week. However, I can't return it, according to the return policy, because it is opened. Well I had to open it to move the ladder and find out it is a complete hunk of plastic junk. I am really disappointed. For fifty bucks I thought I was getting something a little more solid. Although I think my boys would be thrilled (for about a week or less), I really just don't want to give this junk to my boys.

Just responding to the previous review, this is NOT the same truck as the one from Target for $29.99 We have both of them. This one is much bigger. We have loads of firetrucks in our house and the boys love this one the best. Good price too.

Disappointed. Not sure how long it will last. Doesn't seem durable. Ladder is difficult to raise and doesn't extend. A lot of money for a couple of buttons to push.

The other reviewer who thinks this can be had for 29.99 from Target is dead wrong. We have the one from Target which is half the size of this one. Secondly this one is a bucket truck which is my son's favorite firetruck. This truck is huge at almost 3 feet long. First off the price was great coupled with free super saver shipping from amazon. The package shipped out the next day and arrived to me one day after shipping. Can't beat that for free shipping. Also note that this is biggest firetruck I could find.

I purchased a titans fire engine from this seller and was not very pleased with them. The truck is advertised as having a motorized latter with to levers to control elevation and rotation. Nothing on this vehicle is motorized. I strongly recommend not purchasing anything from toys4usa.

This toy was advertised as being motorized when, in fact, it is not. The flashing lights and recorded message are fine but the ladder is not mechanized.

We bought this fire truck for our son for Christmas. It is not bad, but it is not great either. The ladder doesn't open very much and none of the doors/compartments open up either. Overall it is pretty cheaply made.

My son loves this truck! Fortunately I only paid $9.99. Do I think it will last like the Tonka Classics, no (we have a hand-me-down Tonka Classic dump trunk that is 10yrs old but looks brand new). But for the next few years it will be fine, and it surely gets played with every day.

Be warned. I bought this truck for my four year old son. He really liked it. But now it is broken and Funrise does not carry replacement parts. The platform at the top of the ladder tilts up and down. What holds it in place are little plastic gears. The gears' spokes have all broken off with normal play and now the platform permanently tilts down towards the ground. There is no way to fix or glue this. My son doesn't want to play with the truck anymore. A $70 toy should last more than a year. Funrise should really carry replacement parts for such an expensive toy.

Buyers beware on this one! Bought this from another retailer and was sent a fire truck which was *not* motorized, with doors that did *not* open. When my 4 year old tried to raise the ladder, it felt and sounded like the toy was breaking. It sat under the Christmas tree untouched much to his grandparent's dismay. This one will be shipped back tomorrow.

Would not risk purchasing this online again since there seems to be some confusion regarding this product on several websites. A big disappointment from Tonka ... don't waste your money!
