Tony Hawk 1 was amazing. Flat out amazing. I played it for about four months after it first came out, and I still play it at least once a week. THPS is the ideal video game. It's controls are very easy to get the hang of, and anyone can skate around and grind on stuff, pull off a few trucks and have a fun time. The beauty in it (like in all great games) is that you can take simple basics and turn them into amazing scores. Once you learn how to jump, grind, and do the basic moves, you can string together several moves into one long, huge point-gaining combo. The first game was so easy to learn, so addicting, and such a huge success.

THPS2 builds on the momentum gained in the first game by creating larger, more complicated boards, and adding on tons of features. While there were only 5 objectives for each board in THPS, #2 at least quadruples that number.

Tony Hawk 2 is more challenging than the first, has more characters, more options, and just more fun.

And they said there's such a thing as "too much of a good thing...

This is the one and only skate game for Nintendo 64, following the great hit Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (number 1). The most important difference between THPS1 and THPS2, is that in #2, you can create your own skate parks (with the park editor) or add obstacles to the existent ones, and you can also create your player (including hair, weigh, skin colour and skills). It will be one of the best games of all for Nintendo64, and definitely the best skate game for all systems (that's it 'til GameCube isn't released!)

This is an awesome game. It is way better than Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1, and the levels are great. The Nintendo version is much better than Playestation and PC. I reccomend all skating fans that want to make the skaters do unreal tricks and build there own skate parks should buy this game!

It's No. 1!

I've played the first Tony Hawk game on the plystation and it doesn't even get close to how cool THPS2 is. There is so much to do on this game, and thats without the cheats on!!! Check it out.
The fact that you can create your own boarder and your own skate park is just totally mindblowing !!! I've yet to have a two player game yet......I can't wait to see what it has to offer.
ONE TOP GAME.

I have a friend who has it on Playstation. Each time I invited him over I told him to bring his Playstation and THPS2. I would love to play that game 24/7.Now that it's on Nintendo I would have double the fun because i'd have it. It has ecxellent graphics,new players,creating a skatepark(or remodel one) and create a player. I hope this wil help you buy the game. And hey, evean thuogh it's expensive it's worth every cent it takes to buy this game!!

I really enjoyed the game. There were a ton of new tricks to do, better levels, and they encluded the manual! Also, you could creat your own skater! I loved that. And you can creat your own parks and, well, the list is endless! This game is wonderful! I would recomend this game to anyone who has played other THPS games. But I must give you a warning. The graphics are worse, and if you own a Dreamcast, you should buy the Dreamcast version. But other than that, 5 stars!

This game is the best game ever. Even better than the first one. The grapics are awesome, theres ton of new moves as well as all of the old ones. This game is harder than the first one, but the reward is tons of extra characters (spiderman, officer dick, McSqueeb) more cheats (moon physics, super speed, stud mode, and many many more) and more levels (Skateheaven, Hoffman bike factory). Dont listen to the reviews that trash this game because its not true. I bought this with my own money an i certainly dont regret it. So, if you liked the first one then buy this one because it is worth it.

I have played the playstation version and it will be the best nintendo game yet! On 2 player mode you can play tag, graffitti,and trick attack. You can create players,and skateparks. And of course they still have the great one player game, Carrer mode. New player's, better graphic's, New tricks. It is awesome!

I know how cool this game is because I've played it on Playstation at my friend's house and I've played it on the Computer when my other friend brought it over to my house. This game is going to be the best skateboarding game until of course Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 comes out! I read about it at the Activision website! I think every skateboarding fan should buy this game!

I'll try to keep this short. This game is AWESOME! If you are a parent, don't hesitate. There is NO profanity or gore. If you are a kid (like me) then consider this game. You can create your own skater however you want. You can even customize his tricks! My favorite thing is that you can create your OWN PARK!!! This game is all in 3D, even though the graphics aren't the best, it is a vast improvement over the other Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. There are all new levels and tons of more tricks to learn.
