Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is one of the best games that ever came out on the Nintendo 64 system. Games like this don't come out too often. This game is definetly a huge milestone for the Nintendo 64 system. This game will be on the bestsellers list for many months. If you buy one game, buy this game. The graphics are top of the class and the reaaism is unbeatable. Give this game a try next time you go to rent a videogame. Trust me, you won't regret buying this game. You can choose between many superstar skaters such as Tony Hawk and Bucky Lasek. You can perform a huge amount of tricks such as kickflips, japan airs, ollies and a variety of grinds. The controls are easy. It only takes a few tries to become comfortable with the controls. There are many secret areas to perform awesome tricks in. There is a career mode in which you collect tapes in a variety of ways. This is definetly one of the top games in the history of the Nintendo 64 system.

Heres a hint, BUY THIS GAME! It has awesome graphics and gameplay! Its got nine different skaters to choose from and a variety of boards and environments! It is a great game! I play it almost everyday! Its a game that you won't get tired of too easy, sure you'll get tired of it a little, but its a game where when your bored you can just stick it in and skate! BUY THIS GAME!

I loved this video game! I have never played a game as good as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. This game is about as fun as Golden Eye 007 and has even more replay value. I play it for hours and never get tired of it. I am not a skater and do not know a thing about skateboarding but this game is still very fun for me. In this game you get to choose between a bunch of different real skaters. After you pick a skater you choose a board from a number of real board designs. As you progress im the game you get even more boards to choose from. The point of the game is to collect 5 tapes in each level. You get these tapes by doing lots of tricks, doing certain tasks, and collecting things. The more tapes you get the more realistic levels (such as San Francisco) are openned up for you to play in. In 3 compitition levels instead of getting tapes you compete for medals. This is not all Tony Hawk's Pro Skater has though. It also has three different multiplayer games and a free play mode where you can just mess around. I played this game for hours and hours until my fingers hurt. This game is addicting, so play responsibly.

Finally. One of the best skatebording games is coming to the N64. Tony Hawks Pro Skater is an awesome game with great graphics and moves. Choose a skater and compete to find all of the secret areas and get the best high score for all of your fancy trick-work. Similar to the Playstation version, Tony Hawks puts you in control with an aresanal of moves and tricks. The realistic graphics and rumble effects (if you have the pak) make the experience feel like the real thing. If you like sport type games, especially those relating to skateboarding, then this is the game to get!

Great graphics, Fun, Competitive, Heaps of options. All of these make up Tony Hawk Skateboarding!

When you first play this game it takes about 1/2 an hour to get the hang of every thing but once you do have the hang of things you'll be doing 360 japan air to tail grind in no time. There are heaps of skaters to choose from. And heaps of boards. You start off with 1 level unlocked. To unlock more you choose career mode and then you have to do a range of tasks like grind all 5 tables, collect the letter S-K-A-T-E ect...

There are a range of different modes like free skate where you can just stuff round on the levells you've unlocked, there are some cool 2 player modes like HORSE where you do a move then your friend has to beat it or he's got a H. There is also Tag mode where it is split screen and you have to do all these moves over the landscape to gain parts of the landscape and it will be tagged in your players colour.

All in all Its an excellent game, probably one minor problem would be the pop up graphics but they don't really bother you that much.

Once a generation, we are blessed with a sports game that truly deserves to be the # 1 bestseller. So far, for N64, all I've seen in sports that deserves a 5 is WWF WrestleMania 2000. Until now. Finally, after drooling over TH on Playstation, and watching Tony Hawk accomplish the 900, N64 owners will finally have the opportunity to be like Tony. Sort of. The graphics totally reek of awesomeness, the controls are phenominal, and the tricks are just plain cool. With such levels as Skate Park Chicago and others, this game is sure to be a bestseller. If only they'd release Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for N64, we'd be all set.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is a the best skateboarding game ever. The other skatboarding/snowboarding games haven't been nearly as good or realistic. this game is very exhilirating and fun. Amust buy for anyone and everyone.

This is the best game I have played in my life! The graphics are awesome and you never get tired of it. If you're thinking about getting a game for N64 or Playstation, get this one. You won't regret it!

I have had this game for years and now I have Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on the Gamecube. Despite how much better the GC version is, I LOVE this game. The levels never get boring nor does the gameplay (especially the multiplayer!!!). If the only system you have is the '64 then DONT BUY THPS2! This game is a lot better than the N64 version of THPS2. If you want a true classic N64 game that never gets boring then BUY THIS ONE!!!!!

THPS is the most realistic skateboarding game out there. The only game worth playing before that was SKATE OR DIE, and that was a while back. This is what I've been waiting for. I'm not bragging, but I've honestly butchered the playstation version. Many others have, also, cuz it's a game you can't put down until you've either destroyed it for the night or are getting comatose from trying. I've been skating in real life for 12 years, and I've seen skating go through highs and low lows over the years. It's funny to play against a non-skater, cuz they don't understand what they're doing, they just know it's fun. THPS has a universal flavor to it, accessible to anyone who wants to bust out skillz and perfect their personal style. Style, a factor that hasn't been considered in many other sports games. By the way, skateboarding still isn't truly considered a sport, but more of a hobby. Extreme Games.........a game? What seems more like a game, bouncing a ball on a hardwood floor or ollieing over a handrail and taking a 14 foot drop straight down (Jamie Thomas)? Right, I thought so. Sounds to me like "sport" isn't even appropriate. Maybe skateboarding will get it's due respect after all the kids that used to dis skating play this game. We shall see.................
