Tony Metze was born in 1958 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He earned a B.A. from Wofford College, Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1985 and has served various churches in South Carolina. In 2007 he began ministry at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in downtown Columbia, SC. His doctoral dissertation prompted the book,"Biblical Leadership: The Fifth Frame." His publication "Jesus - Forty Days with the Transforming Power of the Messiah," is for inspirational reading. His latest Kindle book, "Questioning Christian Leadership," answers basic questions for any person serving in a leadership position in their congregation. He enjoys a variety of hobbies including sleight of hand,magical illusions, backpacking and cycling. He currently serves as the Territorial Vice-President of South Carolina for the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
