From School Library Journal
Grade 6-Up This novel is the first in a series of planned stories revolving around the guys from Boy Crazy! a magazine and trading card publishing program that profiles "real boys" each year and allows girls to get to know them through a Web site. Jessie sees the cutest boy she'd ever seen sitting near her on the flight to Las Vegas, and is sure that she'll never see him again. However, when she meets up with her cousin Chloe at the hotel, there he is. When Chloe sees him, she recognizes him as Tony, the boy from Boy Crazy! And, he seems to be interested in Jessie. The characters are realistic in their speech and mannerisms, but the plot is contrived. Still, the author has taken a popular game/Web site and turned the material into a light, easy-to-read story. -Jana R. Fine, Clearwater Public Library System, FL
