If you love Mickey Gilley you will love this CD, it contains the best of his songs and the sound is terrific! Right now as I write this review I am listening to "Room Full of Roses", gotta go, I've got to hit the back button and listen to it one more time.

I really enjoy Mr. Gilley's music and believe he puts on a quality show. This album is not at all what I expected, though. Every song is prefaced by commentary often found before a live audience. Many enjoy these versions along with Mr. Gilley's insights and anecdotes, however I simply want to listen to his wonderful music. The sample tracks are completely misleading in that regard as none contain even a hint of commentary. Had I known this I would have happily purchased another album.

If you enjoy the commentary and artist perspective from a live album, you'll enjoy this very much. If you just want the songs, try another selection.

Well here is other good Mickey Gilley CD that has a lot of the same songs on it from Ten Years Of Hits. But again just like with the Ten Years Of Hits CD there are 2 songs missing here too. Those songs are: CHAINS OF LOVE and HERE COMES THE HURT AGAIN!!!
