4.0 out of 5 stars Canadian punk at it's best.
I have loved Gob ever since seeing them perform in Banff Alberta and can honestly say that this is some of there best work. The album starts by building you up in the first half with songs like "bad day" and "leave me alone". Then gives you a melo out with "marching song" but you back into it in the second half with "soda" and...

uh, no. Thats all i can remember after listening to "foot in mouth" and then listening to too late...no friends. its just not the same. the songs are WAY too short and they all sound the same. there isn't really any melody or anything either, and alot of the chorus' sound shouted rather than sung. The song structure isn't too great to. If you like modern pop-punk, stick...

The first Gob song I heard was "I Hear You Calling" on a hockey video game. I had it stuck in my head for days, so I went out and bought "The World According To Gob" and "Too Late...No Friends". They're both great, but I think "Too Late...No Friends" is better.

4.0 out of 5 stars To late... No Friends Patrick, August 5, 2001

When I bought this CD, I was expecting the same quality of music as The World According To Gob, but I was almost shocked at how good it was. Overall I found that it has very few bad songs and many many more great songs. Dispite Patricks very insightful article, I think its odd to use a groups nationality as a means of rating it. That kind of article might pass in California (although I don't think it does) but it has no place here.

Awesome CD. I generally don't like punk-type music much, but I do enjoy this one a lot.

P.S. patrick, you only don't like Canadians because we're better than you.

I love Gob. I think they're funny and talented. This album is great because it shows both of those points. I love "A--hole TV", and "Bad Day"

Personally i don't like Canadians but this cd is really good. The newer one (the world according to gob) i like a little better but this still gets it done. Too bad that they are Canadian.
