Have you ever felt a jet engine dragster roar down a track? The rumble as it starts, and you know what's coming... you're blood starts pumping harder, you're pulse quickens, you catch your breath for a moment and then you wanna scream but you can't hear yourself because the engines are so loud... the ground shakes and this awesome machine rumbles past at lightning speeds... and then it's over and all you want is TO DO IT AGAIN!!! Forget earplugs for TOO LOOSE because you'll want to hear every hard beat, grinding guitar, and rumbling bass, and vibrating vocal... and then all you'll want is TO DO IT AGAIN!!!

"This intense infatuation, I think that it is a primal thing... It makes me wanna strut, it makes me wanna sing..." Rarely does a band describe their own music so well in such an unintentional manner. The four long-haired, backflipping, and often shirtless members of Too Loose are poets in their own right; their lyrics are cleverly woven within guitar riffs that have been over ten years in the making. Granted, these lyrics are explicit at times, but not to the point where the meaning of the song is obscured. Looking past the lyrics, rarely does one encounter a sound that is so unique yet so utterly appealing. "They are a bit like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers," says one fan, "And a lot like something that hasn't been named yet."

Great band. Another one of the South Bay bands getting ready to break. You must see them live to really appreciate them. If you read this before Aug. 26th go see them live at the Pitcher House in Hermosa Beach.
