He Floated Away Because he Bought too Many Balloons,
By
This review is from: Too Many Balloons (Rookie Readers: Ready to Learn) (Paperback)
The little boy went to the zoo and bought some balloons. He showed one red balloon to the lion, two yellow balloons to the giraffes, three blue balloons to the seals and so on till he floated away, because he was holding too many balloons. This is a nice story for your toddler which introduces her to counting. There are fifty words in this reader, mostly numbers, colors and animals. I like all the Rookie Reader books. They are just a great way to get a little pre-schooler started on his or her reading career. And an early start is so important in today's world. Children need every advantage they can get, so if you're a parent or guardian of a precious little one, I highly recommend Rookie Reader books. The dividends they will pay in the long run will be priceless.

Good for toddler counting and learning colors. Fun, short, bedtime read. Falls apart quickly, pages tear and pull out easily. We've gone through multiple copies in the last 6 months.
