WONDERFUL READ ALOUD BOOK FOR THE CLASS,
This review is from: Too Many Frogs (Hardcover)
This is a great little book and an absolute joy to read. I have found that this one is ideal to read aloud to the class. The story is funny and the illustrations are bright and eye catching. This is a story of a rabbit who likes to read and read alone but us then joined by a frog who likes to listen and then by another and another and another......ergo, too many frogs. The kids get a kick out of the book (I have to admit I do too). I have noted this one is also quite frequently picked by the kids to read by themselves. Highly recommend this one for your reading library.

Fantastic book!,

I picked this book up at the library a few days ago and read it to my two children ages 2 and 5 last night. My 5 year old daughter laughed so hard that she almost fell off the couch. I don't recall that she has ever laughed so hard at a book in all her young years. The illustrations are great and it was great fun having the kids guess how the characters (primarily the rabbit) were feeling before reading the words on the pages. I don't see how you could not love this book. I will be buying a copy of this one to keep when we turn the library copy back in.

When I got this book my son who is 6 and in kindergarten was excited about the book. He said they had read it at school. He told me the story before I read it to him which is good because some books he doesn't remember. Its cute, simple and he can read some but not all of it. Its got a nice message about friends.

This book is very cute and my child has loved since she got it when she was 2. We originally picked it up at the library and just had to have it. It's fun to come up with some cute voices to read along. Over a year later, and we are still reading the story.

Wonderful book to read outloud,

I purchased this book a few years ago and the children completely worn out our copy! They love to hear this story again and again, and they still laugh at it. My three year old, in particular, (who wasn't even born when I bought it) always picks this out of the bookcase. It flows great when read outloud so I don't mind reading it again and again! Which is important to me because I find myself hiding some books that don't sound nice outloud. my seven year old also picks this out to read to himself. But really, I love it most for family reading time so we can all enjoy it together.

Learn to love all of your family members,
This review is from: Too Many Frogs (Hardcover)
It would seem that the old rabbit has been living alone for a long time. Sometimes you get a little too comfortable living by yourself, uninterrupted. When the goofy frog crashes the bed time story, the rabbit gets a little irritated but then realizes it's better to have good company than none at all. There's always that one sibling or relative who drives you a little crazy. But Even though people get annoyed with family members, this book helps kids to accept and appreciate them.

I purchased "Too Many Frogs" for my 3-year-old nephew/Godson after a friend told me how much her 5-year-old son loved the book. The concept is terrific for kids that have large extended families and many events with family and friends. It demonstrates the benefits of having people that care about you around, even if those people may get on your nerves from time to time. The images are cute and colorful and the story isn't too complex for young children to understand. In today's diverse family dynamics, the storyline is spot-on.
