3.0 out of 5 stars Some Suggestions for a Better Book!, July 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Roberta Taylor is best known for her performances in the British soap drama, "East Enders," and "The Bill. Anyway, this book isn't really an autobiography about her life but about her mother and her three aunts in the East End.

I have several problems with the book. First, a family tree would have been beneficial as would photographs of the family to help visualize the situation of life growing up among real East End drama. Another issue is the lack of writing organization about the characters and their development in this book.

While I admire Roberta's storytelling about life in the real East End, I felt that she could have done better with the material. I found myself lost a few times without direction. Maybe if she had used her East Enders role in relating to life in the real East End. I could make sense of it all. Another suggestion would have been a map as well.
