This album is a song for song cover of the Ramones album of the same title. The songs are played in a straightforward, no frills punk style. It's decent enough, but one has to wonder why the album was recorded in the first place. They can't top the Ramones original versions of these songs (nor do they attempt to). It might have been more interesting if they had done something different with the songs, but they chose to follow the basic punk formula. Not a bad album, but not a terribly interesting one, either.

I now own every Ramones c.d. made, as well as about every tribute song ever made to honor the Ramones. That being said I would have to add that this is one of the better tribute c.d. I have heard in a long time. They capture the spirit, feeling and tempo of the famed four from N.Y.C., without going overboard. Too Tough Too Die is probably one of my top all time favorite c.d.'s and this remake is one of the best as well. If you already own most or all of the Ramones music and are looking for a good remake of one of thier best effort, then look no further. Take it from a true and loyal Ramoniac, this one is worth the cash and time. Gabba Gabba!

man these guys are great and the name is hilarious! my friend made me a tape of Till Niagra Falls and i've been hooked ever since this cd is alittle different from the first but is still excellent
