My nephew opened the EZ Fort this Christmas Day and the connectors were missing. I called the 800 # and left a message.
Joe Donahue, the inventor of this product returned my call, Christmas Day, left me a voicemail apologizing for the mishap and said they would overnight a replacement set right away.

Two hours later Mr. Donahue appeared at my nephews front door, after driving over an hour away, on Christmas Day, with the missing connector pieces and another full EZ Fort Set.

Certainly restores my faith in human nature! My entire family is just dumbfounded . . . What a terrific guy Joe Donahue is Just amazing! Thanks so much for making our Christmas! Everyone who has kids, nieces or nephews should buy this product!

I was excited to get this toy for Christmas. The first fort I built did fine, but the second one had the sticks starting to break. I get very frustrated when more sticks break as I build and take down the forts. I have fewer sticks to build with almost every time I use this toy. The idea of this toy is great, but the manufacturer needs to make the stick stronger. The yellow balls are fine, but the sticks need improvement.

I own the EZ Fort. I've had fun building structures with my kids, it definitely is a toy that inspires creative play. Unfortunately, the tubes are made of a thin, brittle plastic and can easily break.

Of far greater concern should be the many fake comments on products by the Toobeez company. If you are alerted to their presence, they are very easy to spot. Here are some tips to spotting the fake reviews:

1. The name of the reviewer is two female _first_ names.
2. The reviewer has no address.
3. The reviewer has written only 1 review.
4. Exclamation points appear in the title and in the comments.
5. The reviews appear systematically, one per day for several days in a row. True reviews appear irregularly.
6. Says something like "see the other great reviews".
7. Likely to have grammar errors--uncapitalized letters are common.
8. Only 1 paragraph, typically 3-5 sentences.
9. Says something like "I am ordering more" or "we bought two".
10. Defies common sense. For example, "we cart these all over Asia for our training programs", "the owner brought us replacement parts on Christmas day", "great for team building", "withstood abuse from our six cats".
11. Repeats the product marketing material. For example, "great for therapy".
12. The product description is not quite right. For example, "includes LEDs" when there are none in the official product description.
