This works great not as just a smoothing hammer but also when you need to hammer parts apart. I really do not know why they don't come standard with the hammer and the chisel set. In a car shop, we use this as much or more than the other chisels.

Fit's my cheapy Craftrsman air hammer and works like a champ. Needed it to remove bushings from my car's suspension.

SG Tool Aid 91125 Smoothing Hammer Air Chisel
This is a great must have tool as mentioned and works great for blasting out u-joints and hammering needs. I did find a 7" long bit in the same style that I found much easier to use than this shorter length. Each tool has it's best use's, I did also install the Ingersoll Rand quick release coupler on my air hammer which makes changing this bit a breeze. Check one of those out if you don't have one. Any way this is a high quality made bit and will last years in my tool box. Buy with confidence. RagenRat :0)
