I ordered this tool for use as a everyday multi-tool, not for just street patrol. The tool itself is more than I'd hoped for, with heft and multiple cutting/scraping surfaces, while the butt end can function as a windshield breaking device for car rescues. If I have any complaint at all, it's that the spring steel clip that is attached to the sheath is not well attached at all, with what appears to be an inadequate dab of glue meant to hold it to the wall of the leather sheath. Hopefully the manufacturer will listen to customer feedback and correct this problem, perhaps with a couple of flush mounted rivets.

The tool is great...the sheath sucks, a lot. The spring clip is just a little too small to fit a standard duty belt, so it tends to come off making it unsuitable for daily use. In addition, there is no retention device, nor is the leather tight enough to retain the tool which permits the tool to fall out of the sheath. Again, making it unsuitable for duty belt carry.

The price is right for a field tested tool for your glove box. I like to see 440C stainless steel at this price point and the tool has many simple applications for cutting, scraping or chiseling. It is ultimately a belt cutter for the general public, and would also function as a knife for cutting rope in a variety of those types of situations. This tool will last 100 years because there's virtually nothing that could break.

I'm an Air Force EOD tech and use alot of knives/cutting tools. The Cop tool is one of the most versitile tools I've run into and works great. I haven't used the prybar yet but I'm looking forward to it. It's small enough to stay out of the way but has good working surfaces. The sheath clip sucks. The retention in the leather has held up well so far (I carry it upside down and have done a good bit of rolling around with it). I ripped out the metal clip, made the slots a little bigger and put a malace clip thru it. That's worked great. All and all well worth the money.

like the tool , comes in Handy with alot of small project that need a quick fix. heavy duty, sharp and fits my hand....problem is that the belt clip thats on the sheath breaks real easy, now I have a cool little tool with a heavy duty sheath and no way to hang it on my belt.

The tool is just fine for it's price point. The Tool we all would really like to have is a Graham Razel, but this will do well, and won't make me wince as I abuse it. Both sheaths available for the knife DO NOT FIT ON A DUTY BELT. Budget extra money to get a kydex sheath made from the custom sheath makers.

As offered this tool is not mission ready.

The standard issue sheath will not fit on even a 2 inch duty belt. The Kydex sheath comes with NO BELT attachment at all.I tried three different Kydex multi-attachments from my gear bag- none would work with the sheath.

If you need a sharp tool that you plan to abuse opening nearly anything then this is the go to tool. I agree the sheath could be better but there are alternatives and this tool is just to great to pass up if, like me, you just want a indestructible knife for work. There is no substitute for strapping, boxes and plastic packaging.

Well-made and extremely durable. Resistant to rust (I work on a boat, surrounded by saltwater). Much heavier than I expected, but very easy to handle. Extremely sharp right out of the box. The leather sheath is strong and well-made, but I plan on buying a kydex sheath anyway.

I'm very impressed with this knife. Although I haven't put it through any heavy use yet, I have no doubts that it will perform. I had done some research and knew that the sheath would have to be replaced. I'm ordering some kydex to make my own.

Bought this item to put on my duty belt. I have not been disappointed
