The idea of this product is a good one however I find tht the pad doesn't reach the burned on bits and chunks in between the grill grates. My grill is a Weber with porcelain coated cast iron. Possibly a grill with a different type of grate would be a better suiter. Also the product could be improved by adding a scraper head, this would possibly alleviate the problem of cleaning between the grill bars.
The fact that the wire pad is eaisly replaced is a plus but all in all I feel that this is a very limited use utensil.

This is not the brush reviewed by Cooks Illustrated. This one has a plastic handle and comes with spare scrubbies. The real thing "Grill Wizard" made by R.G Manufacturing in Cupertino has a wooden handle and comes with one scrubbie because they last so long, +100 cleanings. Notice how this thing is called a Wizard grill brush rather than a Grill Wizard brush... False advertising. To find the real thing search google.

When I read the write-up in Amazon, I thought this item would be the answer to most grillers problems. Plus, it was recommended by Cooks Illustrated . . . Sold!! I was so sure of it that I took advantage of the two pack offer (one for the open flame griller on our Wolf and one for my outdoor grill area.) Both work so well that my wife volunteers to clean the cooking surfaces on the various grills. I would recommend this product to anyone wishing to have easy to clean grilling surfaces.

Most of us are lazy when it comes to cleaning our grills. This tool makes it easy. Heat your grill, use this tool, then oil your grill. If you are like most of us, you will need to do this multiple times. When you finally get all the gunk off, this tool makes it esay to keep it that way. Heat the grill, clean the grill, oil the grill.

I bought the brush based on the glowing review at Cooks Illustrated. The brush does clean well but it shreds apart pretty quick. I scrubbed my cast iron grate and although it cleaned it well the pad already started to shred.

These are really hard to find! People say "just buy them at the grocery store" but the only ones I find in stores are cheap crap that just fall apart in strings...not the same thing! Beware if you try to buy substitutes! I'm so glad I finally found the right replacement scrubber. Thank you!!!

I've used this for a few months now and am pleased with it. Scrubber does not scratch my stainless grill. I just re-position pad on holder to extend pad life. Some care needs to be taken not to allow side of holder to come into contact and scratch the grill.

After searching in the stores for this product, I finally found it on Amazon. It works like a charm! It did a thorough job in removing all of the crust left on the grill. It is the first time I felt like every part of the grilling surface was addressed whereas with the traditional barb b que brush it felt a little hit and miss. Also, this particular offer(2 brushes plus 2 replacement scrubbers)from Amazon was a good bargain. If you get this package, you will have a great gift for someone else who likes to grill.

Got this grill brush after a friend needed surgery because one of the little bristle things broke off his grill brush. He ate it in the food he cooked. It punctured his intestines. Surgery took care of the medical problem. But I figured these scrubbers can't let anything break off. Works great!

This works so much better than the brushes and pumice stones I have tried in the past. The scrubber doesn't get clogged with the stuff scrapped off the grill and the handle is long and designed so that you can scrub hard without getting your hand too close to the hot grill. The scrubber goes around the rails on the grill and cleans the sides as well as the top. This is a very good product.
