5.0 out of 5 stars Doesnt bolt right on Hitachi NR83A2 but bolts right on skillsaw
I'm aware that this product is called a Skill saw hanger but they offer it with the Hitachi NR83A2 that they sell, and it doesnt bolt right on. This product works great on the skill saw that I have it bolts right on. The Hitachi NR83A2 on the other hand needs holes drilled buy this one and put it on your skill saw and the one you need to bolt on the Hitachi is the one...

3.0 out of 5 stars Hitachi NR90AE modification
Amazon recommended this after I bought a Hitachi NR90AE round head framing nailer. Toolhangers Unlimited makes a hanger for this particular nailer, but this isn't it. It will work, if you drill a hole in the nail magazine so you can use two bolts to secure the hanger. Make sure the bolts you use have heads which won't rub the nails in the magazine.

The Hitachi NR83A2 on the other hand needs holes drilled buy this one and put it on your skill saw and the one you need to bolt on the Hitachi is the one that comes in the lime colored label (they note them by color also) and the model# is 70306. All in all they work perfect and I couldn't get by w/o them. Bought mine at www.toolbarn.com Amazon has them cheaper. Just make sure you get the right one.

4.0 out of 5 stars The thing to have, June 8, 2003

It's small and unobtrusive and just the thing you need with your heavy Milwaukee, say while up on a ladder. I am buying one for my Hitachi framing nailer as well.
Just about everyone I know who owns either tool also owns the hanger.
It's worth the money in aggravation from not having to look for a safe place to set either tool down.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good design-well made, July 16, 2001

The wormdrive saw hanger attaches easily and performs well. It makes the tool more accessible and helps to protect this expensive item. It is a must have item in my opinion.

I have this hanger on my Hitachi Nr83a2. I would honestly pay twice as much for this rafter hook it makes such a big difference. And it is so convinient because when you don't need it, you can turn it out of the way, and you don't even know it is there. If you have a Hitachi framing gun, trust me, buy this product, you won't be disapointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars toolhanger review, April 30, 2000

As a framer I am always looking for ways to extend the life of a tool. The saw hanger is the best way to do that. It also keeps the saw within reach of your work. Great money saver.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not too bad, October 29, 2007

The hangers installed pretty easily on my Makita wormdrive, it was a little more difficult on my Hitachi NR83a2. I was only able to use one bolt with my hitachi which was kind of bothersome, but it works well. Defininately a must for any deck builder or framer like myself.

3.0 out of 5 stars Had to buy my own screws at ace., April 8, 2011
This review is from: Toolhangers Unlimited 21087T Original Worm Drive Saw Hanger (Tools & Home Improvement)
the part came labeled for a hitachi nail gun. the holes were too close together to line up with the skilsaw. I had to bore 1 hole out maybe 1/8" to line up. Then I had to go to ace and buy my own screws, the screws that came were to bolt onto a nailer. 1/2 hour later it works great.

5.0 out of 5 stars yes, this hanger hangs, March 25, 2010
This review is from: Toolhangers Unlimited 21087T Original Worm Drive Saw Hanger (Tools & Home Improvement)
Uhhh,... yep. It is what it is. Its a hook. It does its hooking duties, on trusses, joists, railings, and even sometimes on fellow carpenter's belts just for a laugh, (don't do it, they just get annoyed, worm drives are heavy and the midwest can't seem to handle the weight,... I miss Seattle.) But yeah, good hook
Oh man, its not called a hook, its a hanger. Sorry

This is a very useful tool. It's still a little bit stiff but I'm sure it'll loosen up as I use it more.
