K-D Tools 2274 Metric Feeler Gauge Set

I bought this set of gauges because of the price and the KD brand. Upon receipt, I inspected the gauges and found two blades that were stuck together. After freeing them, I could see a spot approx. 1/4" in diameter of what appeared to be rust. Ummmm, stainless steel shouldn't be rusting! A little steel wool and a light coat of oil restored the two involved blades, but, there remains a visible mark. I used a micrometer on these two blades and a random check of others....they all checked out okay. Overall I am quite satisfied.

This product arrived quickly and was as advertised. When checked with a vernier it passed with flying colors. Great deal for the price.

It is a good product. Like a previous review stated, you will have to combine blades to achieve some of the smaller thicknesses. The quality seems pretty sound. I don't have anything to test the thickness with but other reviews have stated they're on the money. Overall it gets the job done. I am happy with them.

There aren't too many metric feeler gauges out there and this set is pretty good for the money. My only complaint is you have to combine leaves to get some thicknesses. To get .018mm you have to combine .010mm and .008mm. Not a huge problem but can cause a slight inaccuracy if you're not careful. If you need a metric feeler gauge set and don't want to get an English set and do the conversion, then get this one.
