5.0 out of 5 stars A theoretical but practical application of Vygotskian Ideas, February 21, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Tools of the Mind: A Vygotskian Approach to Early Childhood Education (Paperback)
As a graduate student and teacher in the field of early childhood education, this book was very helpful in my graduate work and in my day to day work with children. The authors have done an excellent job presenting a complex theory in understandable ways. They offer practical applications and suggestions for applying elements of social constructivist thoery in the classroom. A must have for students in the field of early childhood education or those that want to know more about how children learn.
