Format: Hardcover
Excellent book as far as format, description, pictures, and explanation of methodology. However, one great flaw: The individuals polled represent the "artsy" faction of the Rock & Roll Community; therefore, not exactly representative of the mainstream critics--us! For Example, not one Led Zeppelin album among the top 100. Oh yeah, all the "artsy" stuff is there, e.g., Lou Reed, Michael Jackson, Velvet Underground and Nico etc. Come on, give us a break--publish a Top 100 now and be sure to at least get a fair representation across all facets of the Rock & Roll Community. It would be a great service. Use the same methodology, provide as good a quality product--but make it truly mean something--Rock & Roll music--and not the darlings of the avant garde.
