The threads are well-done and do not bind. The adapter is made of some sort of metal, though I don't know if it is aluminum or not.
I am using with a Panasonic GF-1 and the 20mm pancake lens. The other kit lens (14-45mm) already has 52mm thread; so assuming you got both kit lenses, you can just leave this on the pancake lens, and swap out filters between the two lenses. Very convenient. |
