i bought this for my girlfriend who is a chef and regularly wathces this show, we tried to play the game with her and a few others. the trivia questions are so obsure and impossible to know that we played for an hour and were not able to answer any. there is few to no multiple choice questions, how am i suppose to know what season 2 contestant(whoever) brought in his suitcase with him and used in a quickfire challamge that he won. its bad! dont buy, you will be dissapointed!

I bought this game for my mom for her birthday, as both she and I are huge "Top Chef" fans. Unfortunately, unless you can remember every single contestant from the first five seasons, you may be extremely frustrated with the difficulty of many of the questions. Another reviewer mentioned there weren't many multiple choice questions - which is not true. Many of them are - but the choices are specific contestants so you have to pick off of a cheat sheet. Other food questions are just so difficult that you just need to pick from their three choices and hope you're right. And there are many questions without the options, but they tend to be slightly simpler.

The game looks great - the knife packs and little cardboard knives look sleek and "Top Chef"-ish. The problem is that some of the knives get wedged into their slots, and since they are cardboard, they break and bend very easily. After the one (and only) time we played the game, it already looks like it's been played for years. Also, the rules are very unclear on how to play. Once we fleshed them out, the game is kind of stupid. I wanted to love this game like I love the show, but it's pretty much a "fail" all around. If this were food, I would send it back. 1.5 out of 5.

If you've watched since season 1, and are a diehard fan that's on the blogs and Twitter about what past contestants are up to, you will have a blast playing this game. Some questions are harder than others, but definitely not impossible or boring.
