this collection is great if you didn`t buy em seperately and missed out on the darkness storyline

2.0 out of 5 stars Weak
I bought The Darkness Compendium and was looking forward to seeing how Jackie moved along in the DC universe but everything was really shallow. In my opinion the whole thing felt like an insult to the DC heroes that they would even have to "struggle" with the Top Cow characters. It really was a cash in book. Story aside the art varied due to the assortment of artists but...

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Interesting, March 30, 2011

This is a good completion for Top Cow stories. It can be very annoying missing canon details due to them being Crossovers. The Crossovers are also very high quality too with The Darkness vs Batman being my favourite of them all. Manages to bring much of Gotham into it while still not leaving the Darkness out of the story. Good job!

2.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing, December 31, 2008

Pretty much a standard run of "Hey, let's take a bunch of top selling names from two different comic companies and toss 'em together with no real rhyme or reason."

The stories could've been much better, but the art was good...

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Collection, May 18, 2008
This review is from: DC/Top Cow Crossovers (Paperback)
Often the DC Universe can be very black and white / good vs evil and it is interesting to see these characters contrasted with the Top Cow characters, like the Darkness, that have more shades of gray in their ideology. Very nice collection.
