Decided to get more serious about golfing so I purchased this as a starter set for myself. I'm very impressed with the quality of everything. The bag seems very sturdy with enough pockets for me to hold all the balls and tees I want. The kick-out stand is very nice as well as the backpack strap, comfortable enough to lug the set around for a 9 hole game of golf. The irons are very good quality. Hybrids & steel shaft Woods are my fav out of the whole set. I'm able to hit straighter and further with those than the driver. Driver took some getting used to but I've been out of practice for yrs so it's prob more fault on my part than the quality of the club. The driver and putter seem a little lower quality compared to the rest of the clubs in the set. I have plans of switching out the putter eventually with something a little nicer. It just seems too cheap compared to the rest of the clubs. Just to let anyone who is interested I'll let you know exactly what the 18-set consists of.

I was a little confused as to what the set actually contained, hopefully this will clear things up for future buyers.

In my opinion this is a perfect set for a beginner. It has all the clubs a beginner needs and more. All you have to do is add balls, tees, a towel, and maybee a glove. For all the additional accesories except for the tees my personal recomendation is Calloway or Top Flite.

Top Flite is now part of Calloway.

Before talking about the quality of the items I would like to mention how happy I was with the packaging. The set arived in a plain cardboard box. After opening the cardboard box which had 2 yellow plastic straps on it I found another box (The Top Flite shinny cardboard box like you would find on a store shelf.) I opened that box and found the rain hood already on the set. After taking the bag out of the box and removing the rain hood I found all of the woods and the hybrids each with their head covers on and each wraped from top to botom in plastic bags after removing the bags I found each of the actual club heads wraped tightly in plastic. The putter was I belive in a plastic bag and the head was covered with bubble wrap and under that tight plastic. Each iron and wedge were individually wraped in a plastic bag with bubble wrap on the head and then under the bubble wrap tight plastic.
I was very happy with the packaging, and it took probably 20 minutes to unwrap everthing.

The clubs are very good quality. I really like the hybrids (I had never used a hybrid before.) The included 4H and 5H hybrids replace those two irons respectively, I believe. I miss having a 2 through 5 iron though, but I will probably like the hybrids beter than them anyway.
The fact that this set has an included 5 wood and Sand Wedge is one of the reasons that I choose it over the other Top Flite set.

I am very impressed at the quality of the clubs for the price they are better than I expected.
I love the fact that all the clubs except for the driver have steel shafts. The driver is the only club that I ever want to have a graphite shaft.

The included putter is fine, but you could add another if you like. Putters, in my opinion, are the cheapest club so you can afford to have a bunch of them if you so choose.

The included club head covers are very easy to put back on. Unlike the Calloway covers which are good for storage since they have the long sock the Top Flite covers dont have the long sock so you can quickly replace them.

The included rain hood is nice. I leave it on when I am not using the clubs to keep them from gathering dust.

I love the stand cary bag - it holds 16 - 3 packs of balls, a bag of 1000 wooden tees and 3 gloves - it even has a cooler pocket.

There are at least two rings on the bag where I clamp my accesories - towl, divot tool, brushes, score keeper, etc.

I have yet to try the backpack straps, but I bet they are nice.

In my personal opinion, this is probably the best full set of clubs that you can buy for under $1,000.00.

If you take care of them and keep them clean they will probably last a long time.

I bought this set for my dad and i'm not going to lie, i want these clubs! he has not played with them yet and he is very new to the game. The clubs are in perfect condition and i got them right when they said it would be delivered just in time for fathers day! I give it a four star only because of the bag. It is very nice but could be a little more spacious. I Cant complain though because it comes with every club you could need. Overall i am glad i bought this set of clubs. They are very good for a beginner to a moderate golfer.

I've used these clubs about 4 times now and I absolutely love them. They work for me specifically. It don't matter if you spend 5000$ or 300$ on clubs, if they don't work for you, they're not worth a dime. Great clubs, great bag, one heck of a steal.

This Top Flite XL 7000 full set was purchased to replace a mixture of clubs I put together over the past 3 years. I was playing various sets of new/used stiff shafted woods, hybrids and irons over the past 8 years, trying to gain control of my shots with a stiff flex while lacking distance. I even tried custom-length irons in my last set, 1/2" longer since I'm 6'3...re-measured my wrist-to-floor and found I should have stayed with standard length irons. Since I didn't see that much difference than when I played regular flex clubs years before that, I thought I'd try these Top Flite XL 7000's with Mid-firm driver and Uniflex steel woods/hybrids/irons, putter and stand bag set...I can honestly say my iron game has improved by 10-15 yards per club longer taking one less # club! The driver is great, nice and light, teeing up higher with the driver and I'm seeing a longer, straighter drive. Callaway owns the Top Flite name now and the quality of these clubs and bag is superb for the price.I found a new-in-the-box lefty set for $149.99 at a liquidator here on Amazon. That's half-price for a new set with stand bag...I couldn't pass up that deal! The driver is a 460 cc Titanium with graphite shaft...the fairway woods and hybrids are the "Hypersteel" technology...these hybrids are super-long off the tee and deadly accurate from the fairway! My 6-iron through 9 iron approaches to the green have never been better! The first 9-hole round I played with these saw an 8 iron on the 6th hole from 140 yards land 5-6 inches from the pin! The wedges are great from 125 yards in! The putter is an oversize mallet with a great site line and face insert, weighted just right, swing is smooth on the green, averaging 2 putts with this one. I've been a high-handicap hacker for over 25 years and as an average golfer I appreciate any improvement to my game...these Top Flite XL 7000 were just what I needed to give my game a boost! I added the Top-Flite XL 7000 super-long and Top Flite Gamer V2 golf balls to my bag and I'm having a lot of fun golfing again! I've played all the big name clubs in the past...I'm staying with an old friend now...Top Flite!!!

Clubs are awesome, and the set is a great starter. I haven't golfed in a few years, and instead of investing heavily in a set of Callaways or Taylor Made clubs I opted to save some money and try these out. The shipping was very fast for being FREE (ordered sunday received wednesday) and I couldnt be happier with these clubs. Already spent the day hitting practice balls around the yard, and I'll spend tomorrow hitting into the driving cage I purchased along with these. Overall a very good set for beginners, the irons are well balanced, and the driver has a huge sweet spot.

The feel and balance of these clubs is great for me, a golfer with little experience. The look of these clubs is very high quality. The only minor complaint is there are so many clubs, the bag is stuffed and could have possibly had a little more club room, also larger exterior storage compartments would have been nice. I do like the insulated storage compartment for my favorite cold beverage! Great set for the money!

Delivery was faster than I thought it would be. Ordered on a Sunday evening and got them first thing Wednesday morning. I've already had them out to the driving range. Haven't made it out to play 18 holes yet.

The clubs themselves get 5 stars. I'm pleasantly surprised with the balance and the general feel of the clubs. I've had everything from RAM to PING and Callaway and have been playing on and off for 15 years. My last bag (combination of PING and Callaways, predominantly the latter) was stolen so I needed a replacement but didn't have a huge budget. These Top Flites are really solid clubs for the cost. If you're a moderate to beginner skill level, don't spend too much money trying to buy the latest and greatest. This is a perfect set to start with that gives you quality clubs at a manageable cost. I especially like the Hybrids.

Only down side is that the bag kinda sucks (looks better in the pictue than up close). I didn't figure it'd be great, so I'm not surprised. The side club slots for the SW and PW as well as the 8 and 9 irons tend to bottleneck to where you almost have to remove one club to get the other out if it's sitting farther down in the bag. Will likely have to buy a new bag before anything goes wrong with the clubs.

All in all, great buy. Very pleased. See you on the green (or maybe in the sand)!

Nice beginner set the only complaint I have is the putter chips real easy. I am going to have to buy a cover for it so it can get me through a good season of golf.

Awesome golf club set. It has everything you need to start playing golf. I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for an excelent complete golf club set at a great price.
