I received the product and was very pleased with the overall set. Very good value and nice looking bag and clubs. Two of the clubs, the putter and the 5-hybrid had slight defects (marr on the putter striking surface and small dents on the edge of the 5-hybrid).

I asked for a replacement set and Amazon sent a full replacement set very promptly. This time the new putter looked very good but the new 5-Hybrid had an impression on the striking surface. I decided to leave well enough alone and move on and make the best of my set.

While the blemishes each time were minor and probably will not affect play, you expect a new set of clubs to be 100% blemish flee. Nonetheless, the set is well priced and appears to be a very decent set for the money. They performed well for me on the driving range. I hope the folks at Top-Flite make some QC improvements, however. These are blemishes that an inspector should have caught.

I would buy them again, however.

First off, I would like to say, this set of golf clubs was a great buy.... I fell it was the best pick for me(shoot mid 80's)

I ordered this set on a Tuesday and was playing golf by Saturday. I took the set to the driving range first and hit a small bucket of balls. I immediately felt impressed. After I hit the range, I played a quick 9 holes. The driver hits 280+ and straight. Even on miss hits i still got distance and a playable ball. Hybrids where a little weird to get used to but worked well on the par 5 second shot. Iron are typical cavity backs. not a lot of distance on miss hits but always straight. Putter works... till you get a new one and lastly, you will need some aftermarket wedges. Overall the bag is very lightweight and I am happy to play better then bogie golf on my first round with these clubs.

I had a similar problem to the other reviewer. There are nicks and blemishes on the face of the 5 Hybrid. Based on his experience, I think it's best to just deal with it; the putter is fine. The driver hits long and straight. There's more flex than I'm used to, but I guess that's what happens with newer graphite.

All the irons hit very nicely. The hybrids and 3 wood were more difficult to hit cleanly, but that probably has more to do with my inability to hit fairway woods.

All in all it is a very good set, especially for the price. As long as you're not trying to make the Tour, these will do just fine.

Just started playing golf and wanted an affordable beginners club set. This set received the best reviews on several sites. The 5 hybrid arrived with dents on the face of the club. Since I'm a beginner it won't make much difference in the quality of my game but I am disappointed with the quality of the club I received. I probably won't buy another club online again and will want to inspect before buying. Overall, for the price I am still ok with this purchase. It appears that I am at least the third person to report this issue so I hope it is addressed by either amazon or top flight.

I golf at least once a week and have used these clubs about 6 times since purchasing them. I am very impressed with the excellent performance. I had never used a hybrid until I bought this set, and I love them. It is easy to have great drives with this driver. My friend has really been struggling to drive with his set, so he tried mine while we were out and he was driving like a champ with it. I struggle with the PW, but I think that is more me than the clubs. The other irons hit great and are forgiving if you have an ugly swing.

For $199, they are definitely the best clubs you can buy for the money. If you are starting out, don't even think about buying a more expensive set. This is the perfect set for beginners, and the quality is way above what you pay for it. Don't try to save a few bucks buying a cheaper set, buy this set. You will not regret it!!

I ordered these clubs two nights ago, and they arrived tonight. After unwrapping the clubs from their packaging (plastic sleeves on the shafts and bubble wrap around the heads of all of the clubs), I took a couple of practice swings with the 7 iron. I can tell already that I'm not going to be able to comfortably use these clubs. They're great looking and seem very solid, not cheap at all. But they're too short for me.

The main problem I had in looking around on Amazon at all of the club sets was that so few of them had any sort of measurements in their descriptions. I assume this is because golf clubs must have a "universal" length for many people, who would just choke up more on the grip if they were too long. I'm 6'3" though, and from guesstimation I'd say I need another four to six inches to be really comfortable with these. I could take these and have them lengthened, but returning to this product's page after only two days I see that the price is already down $100 from what I paid for them, and it just doesn't seem worth it.

I'm going to return this item and go for something that I know will be a better fit for me, but for anyone out there reading this and considering buying this set, if you're over 5'11" I wouldn't recommend it. And for anyone who wants to get into precise measurements, the irons range in length from 39" down to about 36". The driver and 3 wood are a little bigger, at 47" 44 and 1/2" respectively, but they're too short for me to consider keeping the set.

To address previous reviews I read about the quality of the clubs, I inspected all of them after removing the wrappings, and I didn't see any surface blemishes or dents in any of them. Overall, I'd recommend this set highly to anyone shorter than 5'11", but anyone taller I think would be wasting their time. Good quality and very fast delivery from Amazon, as usual.
