I've looked at a lot of kindle ebooks over the last couple of months and this one is the first one I feel actually deserves my time to review. If you're a novice cook, this is an excellent book on how to make french fries. The instructions are clear, concise and very detailed. I got a kick out of the seasoning the fries explanation it's so detailed.
The book has a working TOC and is almost perfectly formatted. It's a smooth tool!
The fries sauces look pretty tasty too! :)
Great job!

I tried the sweet potato fries last night with my girlfriend and they were delicious. I love french fries so when I saw this book available I had to have it. I'm not a very good cook, so for me to make something that tastes good is quite an accomplishment. Can't wait to try more of these recipes.

As a college student, I don't have a lot of time when I make dinner. Normally, when I make french fries I opt for the frozen kind, but then I found this book and it was too cheap to pass by! So, today I tried making some of my of the sweet potato fries and they were SO good and easy as pie!! :) YAY for making my own french fries! I will never buy frozen again!

I was going to try recipe 4: Roasted Garlic Fries with Pecorino Romano and Truffle Oil

I have tried similar recipes myself for Garlic Fries and have had trouble with the part where the garlic is added to the potatoes. Usually, mine doesn't mix diced garlic with the fries properly and my family complains about it. So imagine my surprise when this recipe had no instruction for adding the garlic. That's right, you roast it, you mash it, you set it aside, and it isn't mentioned again...never added to the fries. Someone needs a tester who isn't familiar with the recipes to try them all before publishing the book. Maybe I'll change my mind if the author revises the book?

You have to try the fries in this book. Simple and creative. They will inspire you to try your own combos of spices and herbs. Start with the simple but awesome streak fries. Even just the info on the techniques used are worth a look. Delicious fries with a fraction of the calories and fat. The bonus is, it was FREE. THANK YOU Mr. Barrett.

I read recipe books like a novel, cover to cover. My husband thinks I can take few ingredients and make a delicious meal.
