Top Gear 3000 Review,

It's probably the best racing games for SNES. If you played the original Top Gear, the natural camera angle for racing has changed making it slightly harder to race.
Since Top Gear 2 you were able to custom your vehicle in single player, but this system is changed some and most agree it is better. Top Gear 3000 is the best in the series, especially for single player. They are all fine games for 2 player racing, but I have slight preference to the original Top Gear because the natural camera angles are a little better for racing split screen.

This game is fun to play, but gets very difficult once you get past the first 5 levels.

This is a VERY fast feeling racer. You compete in races to earn cash to buy upgrades for your car.
The races get SO fast that unless you know the track you'll be smashing into all sorts of barriers but when you get it down you'll be -FLYING-. Two player split screen is good, but when it splits into a quad it's almost impossible to race. By far my favorite racer for the Snes. This one is not to be missed!

Top Gear 3000 is one of those old Super Nintendo gems that most people don't know about because it got lost in the shuffle of other games. Top Gear 3000 takes place in the future as the cover art suggests, and is about a universal race that occurs across several planets and you have to race your way to the top. No, you won't be using the type of racers you used in Star Wars Episode I Racer for the N64, but rather vehicles that look like modern sports cars. This game is easily the best of the Top Gear games for the Super Nintendo, and can easily stand up to Mario Kart and F-Zero as one of the Super Nintendo's finest racing titles. The racing is even faster this time around which makes the races even more insane when it comes to speed. It retains the cartoon look, the fast arcade-style racing, the great graphics, tight controls, and a wide variety of tracks. You can also earn money for winning races, which means you can buy upgrades for your car which can really come in handy. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a perfect game, and this game has flaws. First, the cars aren't futuristic looking. And second, the environments draw themselves out as you go along. This means something that wasn't there before pops up, like another racer and you can hit them which slows you down. These problems are rarely noticeable during this fantastic racing experience. Arcade racing fans should pick this game up because it's great.

This is must have racing for the Super Nintendo. Shines as some of the best possible gameplay for this classic platform.
