This was definitely better than I expected. It actually seems almost like real felt! not just flocked plastic or whatever some other "felt' hats are made of. I also appreciate it being sized...and it is truly a "medium"...about 22 1/2" i think. Looks good. 5" seemed short to me, but when you put it on it IS a top hat...and really really expensive ones are also 5". Guess I wathinking of stovepipes! The shipping was just fine...nobody sat on the box and it's perfect.

My son wanted to be Mr. Monopoly for Halloween and needed a top hat. This one will suit our purposed just fine and be fine for Abraham Lincoln too if we ever need that.

The title says it's felt, but it's not. Well, for the price, it's not like you'll get a high-quality hat. Even so, I expected something more than frocked-plastic type stuff that makes the hat. Not a bad buy for the price, though - I was just looking for a novelty item. Even so, wouldn't recommend unless looking for a 1-time costume.

Everything about this is awesome. I found it for $5, it came within just a few days (before I expected it), and it looks great. It's well-made and I will be using it for years to come, for various.. acting gigs.. and haunted houses and everyday costumey outfits. LOVE IT! :D

My daughter wanted a black top hat for her anime character she dress as. The hat was bigger than we expected (reading another review it said hat was too small so we did order a large) but with her wig it actually worked out better that it was big because the wig takes up the extra room. The felt hat is great - it is not soft felt that would sag; it definitely keeps it shape. I am so glad we got something for her costumes that is affordable and is decent quality.

Looks can be deceiving. What I received and what I thought I purchased were similar but not exact. Either the picture is incorrect or I mistakenly bought something that was not what I wanted. Either way, as with another seller, I am disappointed. I guess if I want a traditional Victorian era British top hat, I need to go a place that sells them and stay away from on line stores. Talk about a pig in a poke!

These hats were in pretty good condition. Although it wasn't as high as I would have liked and as the picture looks. But good quality and received on time.

The hat shown was not what I received. Instead I got a child-sizes LOW hat made from the cheapest felt. Would easily blow off your head if you even got it on. This is something you'd find in a kids costume kit;worth about $1.99 at most.

I loved this hat. Even though this is more of a costume hat, it's perfect for what I need.
The last year I cosplayed Willy WOnka and couldn't get a hat, so I had to make one. Tedious thing. It came out nice, but not as nice as this one :D
Perfect size.
Just a small complaint, and it is that it had about a 2-day delay and had some wrinkles on it... But no one would notice... So... satisfied!

The hat does look like real felt, from away, but its not. its not as soft as normal felt. it is a great product for the price, however. its also has something inside thats hard, so you cant wear it all day.
