Unusually strong,

As the Night Owl reviewer stated, "this novel is a page turner". Worth staying up to read - and reread. There is female-male action as well as female-female. The story relates the decision of a female corporte VP and her quest to find a master strong enough to fulfill her needs. She finds two who might be what she requires. The story then revolves around her trials to become the sexual slave of these two men. One a wealthy master who has her visited by others who subject Jen to a torture bra, an expandable butt plug and other "tests" to see if she is good enough for Master Keefe. Jen also expands the sexual horizons of her assistant/secretary/slave, Donna. The second possibe master is hired by Jen to manage one of the corporate stores after she decides against him as her master.

Liked this one by Campbell, as a top flight executive seeks a suitable and hard core master. She is given heavy trials and makes the mark for the mansion master. Her drive is intense for both dominance and submission. Her struggle is believable.

I bought this book on the basis of the other reviews and I am extremely disappointed. The writing is poor and the editing is terrible. The dialogue in particular is horribly stilted and unnatural. Great concept but I feel like I'm reading bad fan fiction- certainly not worth the price.

Good insight into the mind of the submissive,
This review is from: Top Hunt (Paperback)
This book has some very interesting insights into the mind of a submissive. The reasoning behind the actions is very spot on. For that alone I recommend it. Good story with interesting concepts that lead one into the next with excellent rhythm. Poor dialogue and writing is spots. For a fetish story the complete lack of even mentioning the girls' footwear when describing outfits is glaringly missing. Also the writer has clearly never experienced a few of the scenarios she writes about as key feelings or details are missing. All and all I recommend it for flow, creativity and down-write sexiness. Good bang for your buck.

I liked it but didn't LOVE it,

I found this book very interesting. I bought this as an audiobook before I bought my kindle. The readers voice was a bit too bland for me (Simon Prebble is my favorite) but it didn't make me want to stop listening. There was just no emotion. I bought the other 3 in the series as ebooks. (much cheaper that way) I liked them but didn't love them. The last in the series was my least favorite, which is too bad. I like series to end with all questions answered and HEA. Having said that, I am sure I will listen to and read them all again.

I had high hopes for this book. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The things that the main character did at work was so ridiculous and illegal, it made it hard to finish the book. Obviously the writer has never worked in an office and doesn't have a clue about what's appropriate in today's workplace.
