David Petersam is the president and founder of AdmissionsConsultants, Inc., which he launched in 1996. He graduated from the University of Chicago with an MBA. At Chicago, he gained an insider's knowledge of MBA admissions while working in the admissions office there and contributing to admissions committee decisions. Prior to his MBA studies, he was a Certified Public Accountant.
With an MBA in hand he took a job as a private utilities consultant, but he found his real passion was in helping friends and acquaintances with their university applications. What began as a hobby evolved into an enterprise that has served thousands of clients gain admissions to Ivy League and top-tier colleges and universities. Along the way, his company expanded from an exclusively private consulting firm to broadcasting admissions advice via AdmissionsConsultants' website and social media to the arena of interactive book publishing.
David lives outside of Washington, D.C., with his wife and family.
