It might literally save your life, by checking the political stampede toward a government-controlled medical profession usually presented politically as 'universal health care.'" 5.0 out of 5 stars A strong case against universal health care, January 25, 2009
This review is from: The Top Ten Myths of American Health Care: A Citizen's Guide (Paperback)
Ms. Pipes lays out a solid case against the current political solutions to the healthcare problem.
She refutes each of the healthcare myths with solid research and sound economic logic.
The best part is that she does not only argue against the myths, but at the end presents a range of free market solutions that will improve everyones healthcare.
This is one of the best condensed versions for healthcare reform and should be read by everyone interested in this subject.

All that should be said about Sally P. Pipes' book already has been said by the eminently qualified reviewer, Dr Thomas Sowell. For insight into The Top Ten Myths of American Health Care read Dr. Sowell's column from 7 January 2009. Little more can be added, except that the book is quite readable.
