About the Author

Stanton T. Friedman, MSc, is the most outspoken, best known, and most trusted scientific UFOlogist in North American He was employed for 14 years as a nuclear physicist on many advanced nuclear and space system development programs for such companies as General Electric, Westinghouse, and General Motors. Since 1967 he has lectured on flying saucers throughout the world. He is the author of The Crash at Corona and has published more than 80 UFO papers and appeared on hundreds of radio and TV programs. He lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.

For those who read extensively in this area, Stanton Friedman is clearly the Einstein of the field. Not one to engage in unsupported speculation, Friedman approaches the MJ-12 question carefully, methodically, and with the highest standards of scholarship. When he doesn't know something, he clearly states it. When the evidence shows that something is likely, he explains why it's more likely than other explanations. In this book, Friedman tackles, among other topics, the amazing manuscript known as the Eisenhower Briefing Document, which, if legitimate, amounts to an admission by the U.S. government that UFOs are real and that their existence has been deliberately kept from the American public since at least the 1940s. Friedman argues masterfully in favor of the authenticity of this seminal UFO proof document. In my opinion, this is the best book out there about the so-called Majestic 12 documents.

Based on extensive research in 20 archives and libraries and with the assistance of handwriting and document verification experts the author, a well-respected, veteran ufologist, makes a excellent case for the authenticity of the 3 principal MJ-12 documents and we can conclude that they have an over 90% probability of being genuine as he skillfully and convincingly demolishes with established facts all the skeptical arguments and objections. And there is no convincing nor compelling evidence to indicate any fraudulence to the documents.
The author also recounts the intrigue and detective work behind the research into the Roswell crash and, of course, into the documents themselves and devotes chapters, as well, to MJ-12 itself, engrossing FIA court challenges, skeptics, and the alien autopsy film hoax. He begins with a brief bio as an introduction and ends with an afterword, 6 appendices, a list of sources, and an index. There are 21 black and white photos.
Naturally, skeptics are not amused especially the lunatic fringe among them(skepticultists) whose claims are, evidentially, on a par with creationism, geocentricism, and the flat Earth and hollow Earth and lunar landing hoax ideas, and are a complete laughing stock, have zero credibility, and are partners in crime with the cover-up mafia with which they form the Anti-Truth Axis. Yet they are taken seriously by powerful pluralities in the media and academia who might well be motivated more by politics than by skepticism. By contrast, the ETT(extraterrestrial theory), evidentially, is on apar with atomic, quantum, relativity, and evolutionary theory.
A fascinating book recommended for those interested in the evidence.

Excellent book. After reading this book, it looks like there are no good arguments against the validity of the Majestic Documents. The book is very well written and reveals many facts about debunkers. Very good appendices also.
