I own this book. Well actually, I found out that I owned this book after I bought it. This book is exactly the same as the "Top Secret Recipes Super Secret Restaurant Collection" that is sold by QVC. Yeah there are a couple more recipes, like 8 in a book of hundreds, but there was nothing on his web page or anything to tell me that. I felt kinda screwed. Luckily I bought it at Borders and could take it back when I found out I had been hosed. He hyped this book up on his website, and didn't even tell he loyal fans what he was doing. He has great recipes and stuff, and I literally own all his books, but I just wanted to let anyone else who might have the QVC book know that this one is just a reprint so they dont get hosed....

This recipe book is simply fantastic and I highly recommend it! Making your favorite restaurant dishes at home is a great way to save money! "Top Secret Restaurant Recipes 2" is one of many in a series and a reprint of TSR's "Super Secret Restaurant Collection" which was previously sold on QVC as noted on the title page of the book. But since I didn't have that edition I bought this one and absolutely love it!!! And by the way, the Top Secret Recipes Version of Chili's Southwestern Eggrolls is absolutely wonderful, we made them for my husband for Father's Day and they were a huge hit! I bought this book b/c I love all of his other books. This one just seemed like a bunch of recipes that I already have. I subscribe to the weekly recipes from the website, and get better recipes that way. I've already given this book to someone who didn't have any of this books yet. Not that impressed....

The book is great and the recipes are not only fun to make but taste amazing. For the price of the book and the amount of recipes, it's a steal. I have never written a review but after reading the one from Melissa, I had to write. You could get the recipes from their website, if you want to pay an individual price. As for finding "clones" good luck, those are a hit and miss, mostly miss.

I went to a party last night and brought the (Top Secret Recipes version of)Chevy's Chili Con Queso, wondering if it would be substantially better (and worth the effort)than simply adding the standard can of Rotel to melted Velveeta. Everyone at the party raved about the queso (so worth it!) and I also made the (TSR version of)Chevy's Sweet Corn Tomalito. OK, even MEN came up to me and told me how much they loved that one! All the recipes are easy to make, and just as easy to triple the recipe(s)which was my case. When it comes to book reviews, it kind of makes me angry when I read less-than-great reviews by people that haven't even tried the recipes yet, are simply disappointed because they "didn't get to read the recipe index beforehand" (visit a bookstore then) or the recipes "don't sound good" (see previous suggestion).COME ON! For the small price you'll pay for this book, there are over 150 recipes, most of which you'll definitely want to try. Would't it be worth it to hear, "This is the best queso I've ever had!" You bet it was. Bravo, Todd. You made me look GREAT. I'm off to make the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits for my son...

Sure there are a few of these on the website, but get it for the ones that are not! My wife and I have been digging into these jewels just after the holidays when we have people over and we have them lickin' the plates. And pretty easy to cook from to boot. Relish!

Took my sister to Applebee's and she tried their Fiesta Lime Chicken....loved it.....Fiesta Lime Chicken has been copyrighted by Applebee's and the name can't be used by others.....but if you like that dish.....and buy this book....you won't be disappoined. Bought a book for each of us.......other favorite recipes in here too.....easy and fun to make.

This is my latest purchase in the Top Secret Recipes collection from Todd Wilbur. I made some of the recipes from the book and took them to work....what a hit.
I am very pleased.

The recipes are easy to prepare and are load with preparation tips. It brings the restaurant dishes home with a whole lot less money. I highly recommend it.

First of all let me say that this cookbook has very good recipes. Try the Applebees blondie---It is to die for!!! However while the recipes are great, I hate the stupid sketches. If I don't have pics of the real food than just leave them out. But if you are like me and read cookbooks like a novel, then you will enjoy this book.
