Wow. I've never seen the show, but I sure hope they're more careful shooting than they are writing. As the other reviewer pointed out, this book is filled with errors. Luckily, I got it from the library since I gave up even trying to read it. A couple of the more blatant errors: in a rimfire cartridge, "the primer is a separate replaceable component." There's a picture of a 1911 style automatic illustrating the article about a "Colt .38 Offical Police Revolver". A Smith & Wesson M&P revolver is "magazine loaded" with a polymer frame and short recoil.

Do yourself a favor and save $16 and buy a gun magazine subscription instead.

This book has some amazingly sloppy errors: (1)The gun labeled "Colt .38 Revolver" is instead pictured as a semiautomatic pistol; (2) The rifle labeled as a "Mosin-Nagant Russian Rifle" is instead pictured as a British Enfield rifle; (3)The rifle labeled "M1A" is instead pictured as a Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR).
This mismatch of guns to photographs (and those are just the first three I found)is inexcusable in a book about guns, for crying out loud. The current editors should get new editors.

Great content but bad editing with to many repeated pages and a few pages missing. Many pictures were out of sequence or not even had a description of the picture. The book could have been so much better...

If you like Top Shot, you'll enjoy getting more in-depth into the stories and meeting the contestants of the early seasons (several of whom appeared in Top Shots All-Stars this year).

An updated version, taking us through All-Stars would be much appreciated. Especially learning more about Gabby, Gunny and some updates on favorites like Chris Reed and Dustin.

All in All, a nice reference as you're watching reruns of the show.

If you are a fan of Top Shot or of Colby Donaldson, then yu'll want to own this great companion. Though a little lite on substance, it is a great companion to those of us who enjoy the Top Shot series! A great look at some behind the scenes action and some helpful insite into weapons that we might not know a lot about. A must have for any shooting enthusiast and/or a fan of the show.
