This book gives a very good overview of European ski resorts. There are many nice photos, but more than a few are printed from low res digital files and look mediocre at best. The book's biggest flaw is the maps of the individual ski ares. They are way too small, that one cannot read any of the details even with a magnifying glass. They basically reprinted a ski area map in a very small space. However, this just points out the size of these areas, when compared to ski areas in the USA. Still a fun book to look at and a useful read.
