5.0 out of 5 stars THEIR BEST ALBUM EVER!, March 10, 2002
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: On Top of the World (Audio CD)
Just get it. It's a classic album, no doubt, just like "Comin' Out Hard" and "On the Outside Looking In". On this one, they really get to the top. Perfect beats, rapping and lyrics. Ball & G are 2 of the realest rappers in the game, their talent is unlimitted and this album is a must-have, no doubt: it's got EVERTHING a good rap album should have.

5.0 out of 5 stars ball and G, January 18, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: On Top of the World (Audio CD)
From a east Texas music Major (degree from the streets in
music-ology) ball and G in my opinion do not get the credit they deserve in my hood I rarely hear them being bumped in tha trunk. But I guess real music ain't for fakes. They have educated me to how they were living and whats on there minds and how they feel rather than all there lyrics talkin' about what they GOT (i get sick of hearin'that) and thats all i hear on radio and tv. believe that! Both of them are one of the 2 reallllest just listen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crunk Classic, May 2, 2003
This review is from: On Top of the World (Audio CD)
This album is great! The production is amazing on most of the songs, and the lyrics are non-stop. Most white kids on the east coast wouldn't buy this because of the ridiculous artwork, but you can't judge a CD by its cover! A classic crunked out album for those with game and respect for the pimpin'!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pimp In My Own Rhyme, January 29, 2003
This review is from: On Top of the World (Audio CD)
This album is the definition of dirty south and Eightball and MJG's finest work to date. The production is hellatight on every track, wit its thick basslines pourin outta ya speakers. Eightball and MJG flow in tru dirty south style, non stop gangsta chronicles with clever rhymes. Of the two rappers, Eightball shines most with his laidback flow and amazing lyrics. Every joint is hot, but tracks 2-5,10-13 an 15 are the standout cuts. If you like ya hip-hop raw and pimped out, and like UGK, Scarface, 3 6 Mafia etc, you must buy this album, ya heard!

5.0 out of 5 stars 8ball & MJG biggest and realist fan, December 18, 2002

This review is from: On Top of the World (Audio CD)
This Album is one of their best work ever. They are so real in what they do. Its many rappers that dont put love in the game but Ball and G they put love in it and never have and never will disappoint me. They dont get no props at all. Like Ball said on Lost "Aint Nothin Commercial About My Rhyme" what he mean is that he dont need the spotlight to prove himself well thats what i got out of it. When Ball and G solo albums came out those were the best albums i have heard in a while some people might think i'm crazy but so what. These people dont feel me Ball and G get me though the day, i have learned alot from them. I can go on and on but i'll be back to talk more. So all i'm sayin for the fake people out there is to wake up and realize who are the realist rappers in the game.
