I had never heard of Tonic Sol Fa until I received this CD as a gift two weeks ago. It has to be the most unique Christmas CD I own! This group is for anyone who loves the sound of tight vocal harmony. "On Top of the World" includes a good combination of Christian and secular Christmas songs. A few choice selections are the swingin' title song, which will make you feel like dancing, and the very cool version of "You're a Mean One, Mister Grinch" featuring a dead-on lead bass vocal.

This CD is a must have stocking stuffer for children to grandparents! Christmas music is great, but Tonic Sol Fa takes it to the next level!! Make the family some hot cocoa, light the fire, and put in this CD and let Tonic Sol Fa heat up those cold snowy nights!!

I have always been a fan of a capella (I think that's the right spelling!!) music, but usually hear a regular group do a song or part of a song without intstruments, but up until a few years ago never listened to an entire album of this type of music. This Christmas album by Tonic Sol Fa is one of the best I have heard. With crisp, clear vocal harmony, these guys give great new twists to holiday favorites as well as the original songs on the album. They have quickly joined groups like Rockapella and Take 6 as one of my favorite vocal groups. I look forward to hearing their current regular album as well, and have thouroughly enjoyed their "By Request" album also. I hope they keep the music coming for many years to come.

Tonic Sol-Fa brings a fresh, holiday sound to a cappella music with their newest album, On Top of The World. Taken from the Polar Express song of the same name, the album features an array of popular holiday music as well as original and classic pieces interpreted as only Tonic Sol-Fa can.

Their second holiday album, On Top of The World displays the wide range of vocal talent their four-member team possesses, always honing their sound to a higher level. A highly recommended addition to your holiday collection!!

Personally I've never been able to get into the Holiday Spirit until about the week before Christmas! Working in retail, my motto all through November and December has been "Bah Humbug!" But when I bought this cd at a Tonic Sol-Fa show in late July, I was automatically in the Christmas spirit! My friend and I sang along all the way home and I have been listening to this cd ever since! I cannot wait until Christmastime comes this year just to share this music with family and friends and to spread the Christmas cheer! Tonic Sol-Fa brings the holiday spirit to those who don't even celebrate the holidays, through cheerful, energetic fun-to-sing-along songs! It's hard not to sing along with many Holiday songs you've grown up with, a few originals and of course a beautiful cover of the Beatles' "Goodnight" that anyone would want as a lullaby! This cd would make a great gift for that person who lives all year long for the holidays! Or just add it to your collection of Tonic Sol-Fa classics!

Tonic Sol-Fa presents a fantastic mix of new original tunes with holiday classics on their latest release "On Top of the World". This is a must-have to keep in the CD player at home to get the festivities going, at the office to spread some cheer, or in your car for the long ride to Grandmother's house! And if you can't get enough of this one, be sure to pick up their previous release "Sugarue" and their "Christmas" DVD. You'll love them! Pick up an extra couple for stocking stuffers too!

Tonic Sol-Fa is one of the BEST a capella groups I have ever heard, and this CD destroys all of their competition! Filled with christmas carols, and a few well written and arranged originals, this is a must have for any cd collection. No matter what type of music you listen to, this cd is appropriate for everyone! You won't be disappointed with this cd!

The newest cd from singing sensation, Tonic Sol-Fa, is one of the best christmas cd's that I've heard. The opening song is a upbeat tune appropriately named "Happy Holidays." Spectacularly composed and arranged, this song will cheer you up and wash away your 'Blue Christmas.' Next on the cd is "On This Christmas Night" which oddly reminds me of door to door carolers (in a good way). Following that is upbeat "King of Glory", and "Come To Save The World" both of which are awesome with TSF'S flare. Next, is "Let There Be Peace On Earth" a slow ballad with suprising powerful vocals from front man,Shaun, and carefully blended vocals from Mark, Jared, and Greg...all of whom are extremely talented. Putting a new spin on an old favorite, "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch", sounds ten times better than when they sang this song on their "Carol" CD. Tonic Sol-Fa fans will agree with me that the new version sounds much better! Adding a little bit of Spanish flare with "Ay,Ay,Ay It's Christmas", it's sure to make you want to get up and dance! Including another classic,"Up On The Housetop" is a great song showcasing the talent of each of the guys making it a great song to listen to. If you want a song to help put your kids to bed, I would suggest "Goodnight". The slow melody and lyrics remind me of a song one would sing to kids for them to fall asleep. Moving on to "Rockin' On top of the World" the upbeat tune reminds me of 50's-ish diner music. And lastly, "Baby King", reportably the first christmas song the group ever learned as sung on their "Christmas DVD". Once again, (in my opinion) twenty times better than they sung on their "Carol" CD.

If you havn't bought this cd, or listened to it.. I highly suggest it! You won't be disappointed!

If you have never heard this group before I sugest this for your first album! I have followed these boys for 11 years and every album gets better. Their rendition of "Goodnight" brings a tear to even the toughest person's eye. The uplifting beat to "Rocking on Top of the World" would make even a 99 year old woman want to get up and dance. From a update to date grovy version of "Your a Mean One Mr. Grinch" to a heart felt take of "Let there be Peace on Earth" this is a must have album for any home looking for a holiday album that can be played year around!!

Tonic Sol-fa just released another beautiful and fun Christmas album. I've been to several of their holiday shows and love the fact they've included many of my favorite songs from those shows on this album. I like that they often do their own creative spins on well-known songs; they always sound every bit as good as the original versions. This is especially true of "Happy Holiday" and "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch".
