Well, I bought this for my dewalt 926 9.6v cordless drill. The battery fits properly, and seems to do everything it is supposed to. Certainly a good buy.

as good as OEM at half the price. The release buttons are a bit hard to disengage

My DeWalt batteries were almost dead and I needed replacements. This TopCell is a good replacement. I didn't have tracking information, but the battery arrived exactly when promised.

I had a 9.6v Dewalt drill sitting on my workbench for the last 2 years unused. I cooked both batteries on this drill and the cost of a replacement Dewalt battery was more than I was willing to spend on this drill. I use this drill for smaller house projects where the 18v is too bulky and the impact driver is too loud.

Long term reliability of this is still to be determined, but for now, the drill works, the battery fits and the charger accepts it, so I'm happy for the price I paid.

FOLLOW UP, ALMOST A YEAR LATER (7/15/2011):
I have not noticed any difference in charging time, ability to hold charge or duration of battery life while using this battery. I don't think that I would go back to a Mfg's battery again if I had to replace a cooked battery, the cost is too much for no perceived difference.

I was a little hesitant to buy a non De-walt battery for my drill, but this works better then my current De-walt battery that came with the drill. I charged it up and it the power is great, I have used it on and off over the last few weeks (I do take my battery off the drill when not using) and the battery is holding the charge.

I bought this battery to replace a worn-out battery for my ancient DeWalt cordless electric drill. I think the drill is at least 15 years old; it gets occasional use for odd jobs around the house. It came with two batteries. For some reason one of them is still working, but the other does not hold a charge.

So I bought this battery to replace the bum battery. I've only had it for a month or so, and really have only used it once since then. It worked great.

It fits fine in the drill - I can remove it and replace it with no extra effort. When my other older battery goes, I will definitely be buying another one of these.

Wow, what a great battery. The battery life and power is outstanding, much better than the original battery. I am going to replace all my rechargable batteries with this manufacturer battery.
