MARILYN CAMPBELL's first published work was a humorous contemporary romance released in 1991 through a mail-order house. Immediately following that modest debut, however, she contracted for thirteen more titles with five separate publishers, including a prestigious hardcover house. She since added a dozen more. These books span the genres of category, futuristic, and time-travel romances, erotic thrillers,suspense, psychic fiction, erotic romance and non-fiction metaphysical works.
She has also written a screenplay which was produced by Goodtimes Home Video, starring her friend, Fabio.
Campbell's outgoing personality has made her a welcome guest on several television programs such as ABC's Good Morning San Antonio, and she has appeared on Entertainment Tonight, Current Affair, and Extra. She has been the subject of dozens of feature articles in national and local newspapers and magazines, including cover stories in "Sunshine" and "Romantic Times." Her novels and marketing skills have gleaned numerous awards.
Besides being a prolific writer, Marilyn is an accomplished public speaker. Her workshops and seminars range from writing and marketing your book, to motivation and time management, to metaphysical guidance.
A true thrill-junkie, she has jumped out of an airplane, raced around the Indy 500 track, driven solo throughout the United States and believes a great roller coaster ride can cure whatever ails her. Happily, she resides in the Lone Star State with her daughter, Joie, and their lovable four-legged companions, Sweetie and Milk-Dud.
