This music is so engaging; clever, funky, energetic, and inspired. Worth listening to over and over as there are always new subtleties to discover. Friedlander is an incredible cellist and composer. The whole band really rocks. Highly recommended!

A very different-sounding type of music, June 22, 2000

Recommended if you like adventurous music. It reminded me of Tim Berne or Julius Hemphill in a few places. The musicianship is excellent and the compositions are well-written and arranged. Use this CD as a soundtrack while you surf the site.
