This DVD will be a real treat for anyone who loves the theatre. Following author Suzan-Lori Parks from the time she completed and submitted her play "Topdog/Underdog" to the New York Shakespeare Festival through it's acceptance, the selection of a cast and director, it's winning the Pulitzer Prize and the transfer to Broadway. Director George C. Wolfe and actor Jeffrey Wright are among those shown rehearsing and in performance. Fascinating material. Unique behind the scenes peek at what is involved in putting on a show.

Very nice exploration and insight on the process writers and artist go through to get it done. I love and admire Suzan Lori Parks... what an inspiration.
