Very compact. I've used one of these for years. They were not available for a while. Amazing selection of tools that can handle almost any trail side problem, if you know how to fix bikes. I have never broken the tire tools, although I've used it exclusively for mountain biking. There is also an updated version for bikes with disc brakes. There is not any tool in there that i have not used. I also carry an spare chain pin, an old brake shoe, and a spare inner tube. Fixed a broken chain yesterday. Not only saved a long walk back but let us finish the ride. Mounts on the seat post. When the Velcro retaining strap wears out I use a small bungee--really need something if you are doing any kind of serious mountain biking

What I liked about this tool box:

1. It fits nicely on the seat post
2. Has all the tools necessary in an emergency
3. Leaves me with some extra space in my saddle bag. (It replaced my multi tool and a puncture kit)

I've used for years, and have one on every bike I (and my family) owns. It is great to have *real* *separate* tools, not a folding contraption that won't let you get in where you need to. The box end wrenches 8, 9 ,10mm are something most other tools sets don't have, and are essential for brake adjustment and fender tightening. I have used every part of the kit over the years. Don't loose the foam insert, or it can get a little noisy, especially on the trails. Some of mine have a small rag (part of an old sock) in its place--good for cleaning hands as well.

This kit has all the necessary tools for road side repairs, and the compact case clips nicely behind any frame tube. Unfortunately, there's no space for a spare tube so you still need another storage unit on your bike. Also, the tire levers are easy to break!

Super handy and compact enough that I forgot it was even on my bike for the first little while.
