5.0 out of 5 stars Concise, informative, and easy to read
I am a Jr. High Youth Group leader and am always looking for good books to share with the kids, and ones that answer the tough questions these kids have. I thought this book was wonderful! I highly recommend it to those wanting to know the answers to the questions that come up when first becoming a Christian, or just checking out Christianity.

1.0 out of 5 stars Frightening and disturbing!
Most of this book is nice for Christian kids who have questions about stuff like drugs, sex, and other tough issues. However, there were two chapters, "What about all this Occult Stuff?" and "What about all this New Age stuff?" that I found deeply disturbing. The author claims that meditation and Eastern religions like kind and gentle Buddhism are Satanic!! Yes, sitting...

I highly recommend it to those wanting to know the answers to the questions that come up when first becoming a Christian, or just checking out Christianity.

I found the chapters entitled "What about all this Occult stuff?" and "What's all this New Age stuff?" answered questions I personally had.

A book that answers questions of the X-Files generation!

After having read many books that answer the "questions" teens are asking, I'm settled on the fact that this is the one that does it best! Bill Myers hits the non-traditional topics such as UFOs and Ouija Boards, while still leaving room to address the "common" topics like dealing with parents, friends, and dating situations.

If you're not a heavy reader but are still interested in understanding heavy topics, you'll find this book easy to read, as well as easy to reference when a friend hits you up with a hard question.

This is the book you're looking for!

The author claims that meditation and Eastern religions like kind and gentle Buddhism are Satanic!! Yes, sitting quietly and focusing your thoughts on love and light (for many New Age students this means the love and light of God or Jesus) is actually the work of the devil! I just pray that some troubled adolescent doesn't take too seriously the part about STONING TO DEATH someone who is or claims to be a psychic or medium. It's one thing to not believe in or agree with a religion that is different from yours. It is quite another to preach to children that all other beliefs are evil and should be destroyed (by humans, not God). Do your kids a favor and don't buy this book.
