I have enjoyed Kassav's music for 13 years. This CD includes remixes of classic Kassav songs with a new twist.. The artists perform in Spanish. Wow!

Simplemente es diferente, refleja en cada melodía el sentimiento, calor y el ritmo latino, que sin duda hace bailar hasta los muertos. Se los recomiendo.

I'll take Kassav's "espagnol" and sense of musicianship any day over JLG's milquetoast lyrics and ADHD-influenced arrangements. The Madanina bunch may beat the Dominicans in their own game... granted they had a strong label hyping them. Too bad, coz they're excellent.
