I have two vines producing passion fruit in my yard, and can't seem to get enough of the stuff. I was excited to find this syrup until I actually tasted it. The syrup tastes fine, but very little like passion fruit. The strongest flavor note is pear, with a vaguely tropical flavor underneath. Decent, but not at all what I expected.

I absolutely love the sweet fruity flavor of this syrup! I use it not only for Italian sodas but to sweeten ice tea and smoothies. YUM!

Out of all the the flavor Torani has, this one is my favorite. It has a decent amount of sweetness for sodas and sno-cones. If they could just intensify the passionfruit taste more, it would be perfect.

I agree with the other reviewers on this one. This syrup tastes great and I ended up using it for a home brewing project but it's not passion fruit flavor strictly speaking. It's more of a "tropical" flavor, but not specifically passion fruit. Goes great in coffee too.

I agree that this does not taste like real passion fruit (since I also had a passion fruit vine), however I do like the tropical flavor. I used it in a mango lime gelato I made and the flavors complemented each other perfectly!! It's also great in italian sodas as well....

I stir some of this into Ginger Ale to add a little sweet zest to it. Also, a splash of it in Cognac is great. I used to buy a very tasty liqueur (no longer sold) that contained Cognac with Passion Fruit flavor. This helps me sort of create that same taste.

very good with red tea(just the cheap lipton tea bag is sufficient), then you got yourself a cup of tasty passion fruit tea that would cost $3.50 at a cafe. I wish they have it locally at World Market or something, but they don't
