I agree with the first commenter/reviewer with everything they said about Olivier but ... the movie itself had no good story line and no true substance. You knew what it was about but it's one of those that keeps going from scene to scene and you have to try and keep up with it and the people involved. Old movie. In some scenes it was hard to see especially when it's dark. Truy a HOTTIE (Olivier) but the movie itself, truly a NOTTIE! I'm sure Ebert & Sieskel would've given this one a #1 THUMBS DOWN for the movie but for the MAN and STAR of the movie an ALL THE WAY THUMBS UP!!!! :)

Yes, do see this movie IF you're a TRUE fan of Olivier's and buy all means even purchase it but don't see or purchase it IF you are looking for a wonderful great movie cause this is NOT it. It's truly kind of depressing and sad which I guess it's meant to be. Just watch it for HIM and that's it! My honest opinion, I wouldn't recommend this movie to watch or purchase period. But to add to your Olivier movie/DVD collection - sure - get it!!

P.S. - Best movie I've seen Olivier with all his Hotness, Sexiness and Glory is "The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone". DO GET THAT! Great story and you won't be disappointed! Now that's something to look at for all you Olivier fans! :) I also loved the other HOTTIE gigolo in that movie too! He's the one hanging around on the streets vowing for the attention of Helen Miren as well. Wish he would be in a movie of his own! WOW! GORGEOUS HOTTIE SEXY man too! Poor guy couldn't get Helen's attention til the very end of the movie and then became her gigolo to take the place of Olivier. All it would've taken for me is first time I saw him, dirt and all! :) MMMMMM!!!!

Oliver Martinez certainly has sex appeal. The French hunk is one of the hottest actors in the world. The dark good looks, the finely toned body, the fame, the fortune - it's not difficult to see why many woman adore this Continental cutie. MUST SEE HIM IN THIS MOVIEEEEEEE YUM!
